Rejuvenation & Maintenance
Our Rejuvenation & Maintenance service is a regular cleansing and cleaning regime that removes any mould, odour and minor stains from your luxury products using detailed techniques and quality materials.
Nourishing the leather components of each bag, its shine can be restored to its original glory. The leather cleaning, moisturising and polishing process, completed by hand, will also help to improve the bag's colour and improve its look, keeping it supple and lasting a long time.
For when your bag has weathered many storms – including major spills, colour transfers, deep lacerations and other damages – our team provides Complete Revival services that can completely transform well-worn pieces.
Waterproof
Coating
Margo & Smith's Waterproof Coating is made from a gentle formula crafted with natural ingredients that creates a barrier against water, stains, spills and UV damage. The formula consists of micro-droplets that ensures every inch of the bag is effectively protected and safeguarded from external harm.
When you desire a fresh new look, Margo & Smith provides top-of-the-line Recolouring services. Our artisans follow original colour standards and ensure the new colour is to your liking with bespoke colour matching.
During the recolouring process, your bag’s leather will also be protected with gentle conditioning and preparation, before only non-toxic, transfer-proof colour dyes are applied to the bag. Colouring may be used to cover up permanent ink and stains, improving the look and durability of the item.
Recoloring
Our meticulous deep cleaning process targets and removes all traces of mold and affected areas. We sanitize the entire bag to eliminate any lingering mold odors and prevent future growth.
The leather surface is then rejuvenated and hydrated with a light application of premium natural lotions and creams, restoring its softness and shine while creating a protective, water-repellent barrier.
Every step of the cleaning, creaming, and waxing process is carried out by hand, performed in-house by our team of skilled artisans. Fabric areas are also carefully cleaned and treated to ensure a refreshed, pristine finish across all materials.
Express
Basic Cleaning with Light Nourishing & Polishing of all leather service. This includes a fixed set of basic services for bags.
Designed for small to medium-sized bags in good condition. The Express Service includes basic cleaning, light nourishing, and polishing.
This budget-friendly option is ideal for new or well-maintained items that don’t require intensive care. It’s perfect for clients who want a quick refresh and are comfortable with minimal intervention.
If deeper cleaning or repairs is required (like colour correction, sticky patent, colour touch up or abrasion fixes) , the service price will starts from $250.
On backend, turnaround time still follows schedule accordingly2) The premium Rejuvenation services offer a more thorough restoration process, adjusted based on the size, condition, and specific needs of the item. It includes detailed cleaning, deeper nourishing, and polishing, and may also cover minor colour touch-ups and glue repairs. Ideal for bags that require more extensive care and restoration, it addresses more specific damage or wear clients might have. Also suitable for new bags if client prefer a more detailed approach towards cleaning.
Stitching & Hardware Replacement
Margo & Smith also offers Stitching and Hardware Replacement for when your well-loved pieces have incurred scratches or other damages over wear.
It is common to experience wear and tear on your bags' shoulder straps or handles over time. Strap replacement services includes duplicating existing straps, or replacing worn out and old leather binding, piping and other areas. These are solutions to allow the wearer to still use the bag functionally despite any damages.
Hardware pieces are subject to availability, and clients can also request for strap modification and replacement.
Shoe Repair
Shoe repair services such as the installation of half rubber soles, replacement of heel tips, stain removal and mould removal are available for all types of footwear. When your footwear deserves a good refreshing for taking you all over — from business meetings to special occasions.
Our shoe department at Mason and Smith offers a large variety of shoe services for all types of footwear, including the installation of half rubber soles, replacement of heel tips and restoration of discoloured shoes and sneakers.
Furniture, Trunks and Collectibles
At Margo & Smith, we specialise in handling high-end exotic skins, valuable items, delicate watch straps and vintage furniture with expert care.
We understand that each vintage piece may be a cherished heirloom or collectible. Hence, we treat them with utmost attention and precision.
Your unique and rare items are protected throughout the restoration process, as we maintain strict security protocols – all restoration work is completed in-house within our secure, humidity-controlled workshop.
Additionally, our secure pick-up and drop-off service guarantees safe transit. For larger items like vintage furniture, we offer house calls for added convenience.

Running late for work and would like to drop off your bags? Call or message us to arrange for a curbside pick up. Our team will process your order and payment can be made via PayNow, bank transfer, and credit card. If you work in the business district, we could also walk over and pick them up from you.

Margo and Smith is an artisanal leather care store that specializes in maintenance and leather restoration services for luxury leather goods. Each in house consultation is a tailored experience, luxurious and personal from the minute you enter - available services include bespoke color matching for recoloring, artisanal hand polishing and waxing of luxury leather goods and restoration works for leather goods of all shapes and sizes, including handbag, wallets, belts, backpack, leather furniture.
A private tour of the atelier on the 2nd floor brings the client through an exquisite consultation area where they are able to select various types of colors, finishes and hardware for the repair of their bags. The 3rd floor features an open concept workshop where clients can witness their bags being restored and recolored onsite. All restoration works are carried out by in-house artisans one piece at a time.

What should i do if i spill something on my bag?
Quickly wipe it off with a soft cloth or tissue. Avoid using alcohol, hand soap, or other cleaners. Contact us for assistance, or bring it to a professional!
How do i know if my bag is mouldy?
To check for mould, look for green or white spots and a musty smell. Mould spores may sometimes be visible - they resemble white cotton candy and can be characterised by dark mould spots of irregular size. For more info on mould cleaning, click here!
What can be repaired?
We can restore a range of items, from scratches and scuffs to structural damage. We also provide hardware replacement, electroplating, recoloruing, mould cleaning, furniture restoration and many more!
